Light Flow In Fog
Sunday night, I went to Twin Peaks, San Francisco, CA with +Mitchell Currie . We went up expecting some clear views, but the fog had rolled in very heavily, accompanied by wind and the beginnings of hail. We saw some traffic lights through the fast moving fog and made our best attempt to capture some long exposures, despite water building up on our cameras and the growing chill seeping into our hands.
"Light Flow In Fog" is a capture I made with multiple 20-30 second exposures shot with the A77 and the Rokinon 8mm fisheye. Each exposure was shot RAW, processed in Adobe Lightroom, then HDR merged in Adobe Photoshop CC with ghosting reduction turned off, to preserve the light trails.
While I had a clear view of the city when I shot "Paths of Light", this time, the fog was just ever present, deep, thick, and impenetrable.
